Code of conduct
Assigeco Underwriting S.r.l., as an insurance agent registered in Section A of the Register of Insurance Intermediaries (RUI no. A000606969), operates in compliance with the provisions of the Private Insurance Code and the regulations issued by IVASS concerning insurance intermediation.
In particular, the company undertakes to:
- Operate with fairness, honesty, professionalism, integrity and transparency in the best interests of policyholders, as provided for by Article 119-bis of the Private Insurance Code;
- Obtain from policyholders the information necessary to identify their insurance needs and ensure that they are always adequately informed;
- Act with due diligence, fairness and transparency towards policyholders and insured parties;
- Provide policyholders, prior to the conclusion of the contract, with all pre-contractual information required by the applicable regulations;
- Avoid conflicts of interest and, where unavoidable, manage them in such a way as not to prejudice policyholders;
- Maintain high standards of professional competence through the continuous training of staff involved in intermediation activities.
The activities of Assigeco Underwriting are subject to the supervision and control of IVASS (Institute for the Supervision of Insurance) www.ivass.it
